Paying for your care

Self-funding (self-pay) patients. You are welcome to book directly, with no GP referral needed. The consultation fee is due prior to your appointment. Any diagnostic tests recommended by Dr Franks will be clearly explained and quoted before they are carried out, so there are no surprises.

Insured patients. Dr Franks is recognised by all major UK health insurers and bills them directly, including AXA Health, Aviva, Bupa, Vitality, WPA and Allianz. Before your appointment, please contact your insurer to confirm your cover and obtain a pre-authorisation code if they require one. Please bring your membership number and authorisation code to your appointment so your claim can be processed smoothly.
